Govt attains remarkable success in education sector

The present government achieved a marked progress in the country’s education sector in the last 10 years.

Local Government, Rural Development (LGRD) and Cooperatives Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain made the comment while addressing a function, marking the 100th anniversary of Govt Rajendra College in Faridpur on Saturday.

“The overall development of the country is accelerated due to the unprecedented development that took place in its education sector in the last 10 years,” he said.

Speaking as the chief guest, Mosharraf urged youth generation to apply their talent and creativity to help the government achieve the ‘Vision-2021’ and ‘Vision-2041’ announced by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, reports BSS.

Chaired by principal of Govt. Rajendra College Prof Mosharraf Ali, the function was addressed, among others, by Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, former secretary Mohammad Hemayet Uddin Talukder, former principal of the college Prof Miah Lutfar Rahman, deputy commissioner of Faridpur Begum Umme Salma Tanzia and superintendant of police Mohammad Zakir Hossein.

Earlier, Mosharraf inaugurated the anniversary celebration programme of Rajendra College.
