Police arrest pry school teacher with 303 bottles phensidyl

Police arrested a primary school teacher and another man along with 303 bottles of phensidyl in Jhatkathi area of Sadar upazila of Pirojpur district early Monday.

The arrestees are-- assistant teacher of Chitolia Govt Primary School Mashiur Rahman Shubh, 32, son of Ashraf Ali and Sanjoy Kumar Basu, 30, son of Ranjit Kumar Basu of the upazila, reports UNB.

Nurul Islam Badol, officer-in-charge of Pirojpur Sadar Police Station, said on secret information, police raided Mashiur’s house around 12:00 am and recovered 303 bottles of phensidyl kept in an almirah and under the bed.

Police arrested Mashiur and Sanjoy and also seized Tk 0.49 million from their possession during the drive, the OC added.
