A young man was gunned down by unidentified miscreants in Kamramgir area in Dhaka on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Sharif, 38, a resident of Paschim Islambagh area.
Shaheen Fakir, officer-in-charge of Kamrangirchar police station, said hearing sound of gunshots from Eidgah field area, locals rushed in and found Sharif wounded at around 10:30 pm.
Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared him dead, UNB reported.
Police said he might have been killed over previous enmity.
