DB detain three drug traders with 20,000 yaba in Satkhira

A team of Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested three suspected drug traders along with 20,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from a courier service office in Satkhira district town early Friday.

The arrestees are Abdus Sattar, son of Alim Sardar ofAlipur village, Nazrul Islam, son of Askar Ali Gazi of Laxmidari village and Sagar of Kulati village in Sadar upazila, reports UNB.

Sajjadur Rahman, superintendent of Satkhira Police, said being tipped off that a gang of smugglers was bringing Yaba from Chittagong via Courier Service, a team of DB police raided 'Janani Enterprise' courier service and seized a plastic sack containing Yaba tablets and arrested Abdus Sattar.

Following his information, the team arrested two other Yaba traders.
