Warning signal for ports withdrawn

The Met Office on Tuesday withdrew warning signals for maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra as the weather improved, reports UNB.

In a special bulletin, the Met office advised fishing boats and trawlers to remain close to the coast until the afternoon.

In its 24-hour forecast until 09:00 am on Wednesday, the Met Office said rain and thunderstorms will likely hit parts of all eight divisions.

Some parts of the country may be hit by heavy to very heavy rainfall, the bulletin said.
