Police recovered an around 150-year-old Shiva idol, which was stolen 15 months ago, from Uttarvurshi Mallikpara in Boalkhali upazila of Chittagong on Wednesday night.

On information, a team of police brought the statue to the police station from the house of Ashish Mallik, said Himangshu Kumar Das, officer-in-charge of Boalkhali Police Station.
