Six get punishment for unfair means in recruitment test

A mobile court fined five candidates and sentenced another one for adopting unfair means in the primary assistant teacher recruitment test in Gopalganj on Friday.

The candidates are: Sankar Das, Sheuly Majumder, Kona Mallick, Hamida Akhter, Mim Bala and Tonuja Biswas, reports UNB.

District education officer Md Masud Bhuiyan said they were held for using electronic devices during the test at Gopalganj Sarnakali High School centre.

Later, they were produced before a mobile court, led by Executive Magistrate Md Mohsin Uddin.

The court sentenced Sankar Das to seven days' imprisonment and fined others Tk 1,000 each.

The education officer also some 14,200 candidates took part the recruit test in 21 centres in the district.
