First Narail coronavirus patient makes recovery

A young man, who was diagnosed with coronavirus as the first case of Narail district, has recovered from the disease as the first patient.

Syed Sujon, son of Syed Ashraf Ali of Parchatora village in Lohagara upazila, was declared free from coronavirus by the district health department on Tuesday as his sample tested negative for thrice in a row.

Civil surgeon Doctor Abdul Momen confirmed the matter, reports UNB.

The youth tested coronavirus positive on April 9 after his return from Narayanganj on April 7.

Later, the upazila administration put four villages under lockdown.

His sample was tested again on April 18, 19, 20 when he was found negative for the virus.

The upazila administration also lifted lockdown.
