Driver dies as human hauler overturns in Chuadanga

A human hauler driver was crushed under the wheels of a truck while two of its passengers sustained injuries after the vehicle overturned in Chuadanga district town on Tuesday morning.

The deceased could not be identified immediately, says a news agency report.

Abu Zihad Mohammad Fakhrul Alam Khan, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said the driver of the human hauler (locally known as Alam Sadhu) lost control over the wheels when it was trying to overtake a sand-laden truck and turned turtle on the road.

Later, the truck ran over the human hauler driver, leaving him dead on the spot.
