BGB nabs two Indian men at Benapole

Two Indians were arrested with Tk 0.40 million from Benapole port area of Jashore on Tuesday night.

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) identified them as Rakesh Ghosh, 27, son of Dulal Chandra, and Sumon Mandal, 24, son of Sirajul Mandal of Uttar Chabbish Pargana.

A team of BGB-49 Battalion, led by Nayek Rafiqul Islam, conducted a drive in the area after being tipped off and arrested them along with the money at around 6:30pm, reports UNB.

They were involved 'hundi' business, said BGB.

Later, the arrestees were handed over to Benapole Port Police Station.
