72 houses get electricity in Panchagarh

Seventy-two houses of Sheikhpara village under Debiganj upazila of Panchagarh district were brought under electricity supply network on Wednesday.

Local lawmaker Advocate Nurul Islam Sujon inaugurated the power connection line as the chief guest.

A discussion meeting to this effect was held on the premises of Mollikadhao Govt Primary School.

Addressing the meeting, the MP highlighted the advancement that the region is going to have now which was inadequate before.

The lawmaker assured the locals that every house of the village will get electricity under the present government. The Awami league government has accomplished a tremendous development for the power sector, he added.

The discussion was addressed, among others, by Debiganj Upazila Parishad Chairman Hasnat Zaman Chowdary and Upazila Awami League President ASM Nuruzzaman, reports BSS.

Sonaher Union Awami League President Md, Delwar Hossein presided over the meeting.
