A three-member probe committee was formed Saturday to investigate the fire that broke out at a slum in the city’s Mirpur-7 area on Friday, reports BSS.
“The three-member committee headed by deputy director (ambulance) Abul Hossain has been constituted to investigate the fire incident,” said duty officer at Fire Service and Civil Defense office Ershad Hossain.
Two other members are assistant director (operation) Abul Hossain and deputy assistant director (Mirpur Zone) Newaz Ahmed.
“The committee has been asked to submit its report as early as possible,” Ershad told BSS.
The fire broke out at the slum on Friday evening and firefighters doused the flame early hour of Saturday.
