BGB seizes explosive materials in Rajshahi

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered six kilograms of explosive making materials worth Tk 0.328 million from Rajshahi on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of BGB-1 conducted a drive in Yusufpur Padmarchar area under Charghat upazila of the region and recovered the explosive substance kept in a packet in an abandoned condition, said BGB-1 commanding officer Mohammad Tajul Islam.

However, none was arrested in this connection as the smugglers managed to flee the scene.
