A total of 32 people were arrested in 14 separate cases until Saturday noon in connection with the arson attacks on buses in Dhaka on Thursday.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) spokesperson Walid Hossain revealed the information this afternoon.
Most of the arrestees are leaders and activists of a political party, Mr Hossain, who is also the deputy commissioner of media at the DMP, added.
He also said that a Dhaka court granted remand for 28 people in separate cases for different terms filed with various police stations in the capital.
