ULAB inks MoU with BPCL

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and Bangladesh Petrochemical Company Limited (BPCL) have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the ULAB Chancellery in Dhanmondi.

Professor Dr HM Jahirul Haque, Vice-Chancellor of ULAB and Khadem Mahmud Yusuf, MD and CEO, BPCL signed the MoU on Tuesday on behalf of their respective organisations, according to a media release received today (Wednesday).

The aim of the agreement is to collaborate research study or project, seminars, conferences, and training programmes; exchange the academic information and materials in the fields of interest mutually agreed upon by both the institutes; place joint proposals to the government, national and international agencies and universities for conducting sponsored research projects; conduct joint supervision for research, training and publications; support students and faculty members in research and knowledge sharing and management through supporting internship, relevant collaborative learning interventions.

Professor Imran Rahman, Special Advisor to the ULAB Board of Trustees, Dr Samiya A Selim, Associate Professor and Director, Center for Sustainable Development, ULAB and other high officials from both institutions were present at the signing ceremony.
