BRAC University, with the assistance of Fire Service & Civil Defense, organised a fire drill recently to raise awareness about the fire activities at its Mohakhali campus.
Students, officers, employees of the University and workers of fire service participated in the drill. They were given lessons on how to use the fire extinguishers and first aid kits properly while performing emergency duties.
BRAC University Treasurer and Acting Registrar SN Kairy, Head of SRM, BRAC Mesbah Un Nabi, Senior Assistant Director, Admin Md Nurul Islam, and Senior Fire Service Officer Faisalur Rahman were present in the programme, according to a press release.
The objective of the fire drill programme was to aware BRACU employees and students to respond quickly, calmly, and safely in case of fire incident.
